Re: E46 B3 Shock Absorber

I got my shocks from here https://www.fmw-tuning.de/bmw/3er-e46/e ... mode=tiled. Delivery was approx 10 days. Since ordering them a forum member put up a link for a UK based source where the price difference was not so great. Alloy Wheels Direct or similar?

Re: My B3 - Some TLC & Upgrades

I may be wrong but I seem to recall the Dynavin N7 isn't compatible with the reversing sensors - PDC - but do enable a reversing camera to be fitted.

Re: autobox rebuild recomendations pls

If a workshop has been recommended to you by Phil at CPC I would be sorely tempted to take it there. However I'm pretty sure one of the forum members had their Alpina gearbox overhauled by these http://www.vanmatic.com/index.php despite the website saying they are suppliers. It could be worth a phon...

Re: 2003 B3

yes, may try to go and see it next weekend, need some tips from an E46 B3 owner to know what to look for? Just from my experience the shock absorbers will need to be checked thoroughly. My fronts started to leak around this mileage. £1200 for genuine Alpina plus fitting for all four shocks and spri...

If fitted it could be the butterfly valves in the tailpipes. They open and close at certain RPM. My E46 sounds meatier when starting from cold then once warm settles down.
