Hi All,

Just took the plunge and bought a 2014 D3 Biturbo touring (020). Absolutely loving the experience so far.

I bought it from an Indie who supplied me with a spec list, only problem is this is based on the original VIN for the base car and I'm unsure as to the actual Alpina spec. The original car spec list included an LSD but I've read that Alpina spec their own LSD so im unsure as to what it actually has. Is anything available which uses the Alpina VIN to generate a spec list for my actual car?

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere on the forum.

Cheers

Paul

The spec will be generic alpina for that model but I think lsd was 2.5k option

Thats the one buddy. The advert says it has an LSD, the spec of the original car says it had the LSD as an option (25% locking) but i would like to know whether it has the Alpina LSD. Im unsure why Alpina would order a car with a factory fit LSD just to fit their own?

Have you a pic of the print out?
I fairly sure that it will be Alpina who use a Drexler one as an option
Other extras will be the alpina 20 inch rims
Piano black trim
Rest will bmw options

It won't let me attach as the file is too big. Its a BMW group 'AIR' printout, all the Alpina options you mentioned are listed....option 0209 Differential lock 25% is the one im looking at.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase. I’m pretty sure the original owner was on the forum before he sold up so he may check in and be able to help answer the question
