Hi Guys

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. I was driving my 2009 D3BT today with the radio working fine. Turned engine off and got out of the car, got back in about 30 minutes later and the radio is dead. The illumination around the buttons is working and I can eject/insert a CD, the display is not working, no sound and nothing happens when I press the buttons, also I’ve noticed things like the seat belt warning no longer bings.

It’s a professional head unit if that helps.

It could possibly be your battery on the way out. Mine had similar gremlins a couple of years ago.

When you say battery do you mean the main car battery in the boot.

Yes. If it is this then the new battery will need to be coded to your car too.

Well I’ve checked all the fuses in the fuse box, they are ok and I’ve removed the head unit and checked the fuse on the back of that and that’s fine.

So now I’m stumped as to what it could be.

I have noticed that my rear parking sensors aren’t working either, so I’ve lost my radio all warning sounds and parking sensors.

When you unlock your car with the remote, do the angel eyes come on?
