Re: BMW Trackday 23rd Feb 2019 / Alpina meet up (unofficial)

Hi Norman,

Weather was fantastic up until 2pm when the rain came which then made things interesting for some & expensive for others

Cheers,

Re: Silverstone Classic 2019 26th-28th July 19

Hi Norman,

I will probably be there as normal. :P :P

Shame about no Alpina section though, I was hoping to bring mine out from under wraps this year :( :(

Cheers,

Dean

Yes - sadly there is no standardised format - this has been confirmed several times. If in any doubt about a cars providence you can check with Sytner directly. I did get to speak with Johnathan Noy when he was at Sytner about my car but unfortunately Sytner Nottingham record keeping was not great ...

Can anyone advise if this is correct. Chee...

B2.5 Convertible

I was at the BMW Show, Santa Pod yesterday & there was a 1994 B2.5 Sytner modified Alpina but as a Convertible.

Did they ever do any convertibles as there are none on the register that I could see?

Have been trying to get a replacement Boysen back box for mine but they are like hens teeth, hard to get hold of. I have decided to get it repaired as it is only the baffles that have gone. My roof lining has also sagged but is only black so easy to source a replacement. Like Hap has said eBay can b...

Hard to tell if it is a genuine B2.5 unless it has the original build sheet. This is probably why the seller is only advertising it as a replica. I notice it has an aftermarket exhaust instead of the Boysen one that would have been on it originally. It does have original Hardline wheels though which...

Genuine 17 inch C79 Softline Alloys -SOLD-

Hi Everyone, I have now acquired a set of Hardline alloys so my Softlines are up for sale. These are genuine 17 Inch Classic C79 Softline Alloys with valve located in the centre hub & come without tyres. Not bad condition but could benefit from a refurb to make them pristine again. Still usable & ru...
