As above although I have had one charger last 100k with only front bearings to replace for £28, I know I keep saying it but oil filter is king because even BMW put the wrong ones in and the wrong ones do fit and do work up to a point eg put the oil light out but starve the charger of oil especially ...

Almost there. We need new bearings for the supercharger. The big question is what is the specification, part number and where to get them from. If the shaft seals have gone and you have oil entering the induction system then you want to sort this soon or you will damage engine valves pistons and catalytic converters in most cases the seal is not the first faulty part, its the bearings in the supercharger itself the units are made with steel...

I like sales but what they are saying is that full price with %4 discount you are paying £63.99 for 4ltrs which as obviously been inflated, because at Halfords now and we all know how they like to charge its only £51 with no sale on now!

I have been able to fix one of my chargers both bearings cost £28 (none BMW) and it takes about two hours in time to do and that is after it had done about 100 thousand miles from new. Right oil and filter and you will no go far wrong.
