I have had several Alpinas with LSD fitted, have had no problems re insurance, have been with LV for years and the question has never come up.

Seems like UK buyers do not like the fact that they can only buy the lower powered version of the D5S, we lose 62 bhp and a turbo to the full fat Euro spec :(

Sounds like the padding in your wheel centres have disappeared, If you have the later classic wheels with the pastry cutter centres they will make an awful clatter without the padding. Mine made a terrible noise, you could hear my car coming :D , use the sticky felt from the pads used to put under f...
