Classic deco question

Post by binaryduke »

I'm looking for some help from anyone with a car that has classic 70's style deco please. I've tried some of the usual experts but haven't been able to get answers yet unfortunately.

From the attached image, I'd really appreciate understanding:

1. The gap spacing between the upper (green) and lower (blue) stripe.
2. The spacing between the lower (blue) stripe and the base of the ALPINA letting (or whether the top of the lettering is aligned to the upper edge of the thicker part of the blue stripe).
3. The spacing between the end of the ALPINA lettering (the final A) and the final part of the thin blue stripe (projected vertically) before the rhomb gets thicker.

Would be great to know this from an actual car and will supply pics post-application :)

Many thanks.

If you dont get any joy on here then if you looks on 'Cars and Classics' for Alpinas for sale and scroll down you will find a B6 with those graphics being sold by a European company.

I'm sure they would be helpful giving you the answers you are seeking?

Its well worth a punt?
