E46 B3S touring

Post by polynesian2 » Mon Jul 08, 2024 2:51 pm

Green (Oxford?) touring with gold deco set in Deptford/Greenwich heading to the A102 Blackwall tunnel/kent.

I was the gesticulating cyclist who didn’t have enough sign language to say “lovely car! And my B3S touring is parked just around the corner!”

I thought it much be Charles but not sure if he has gold deco set or a plate beginning N80.

Anyway. Great to see such a rare and lovely Alpina.

I think Charles' reg starts L80 but based on my records (which may not be complete) his is the only green UK spec car.

Thanks James, I thought his was the only green one, and the interior was “his”. I haven’t been on the forum much in the last year but it was nice to see it “in the flesh”.

And I thought all cyclists in London hated cars!

That was me, heading to lunch with my stepmother in Greenwich. If the lights hadn't changed, I would have had a chance to say hello 😄

Oxford Green II, gold deco and beige interior - glad I washed the car yesterday 🤣

Hi Charles, I live in Greenwich, have the B3S tucked awash in my little backyard, and im always happy to see another Alpina, especially one with a proper mileage.

You’re welcome to try the E91 flavour if you’re back and have some time. What can’t offer are any decent driving roads.

Don't get over to Greenwich that often but good memories as I was born and brought up there!
