C1 2.3 at The Motorist

Post by Yad3100 » Wed Jul 21, 2021 10:15 pm

Had a nip down to the motorist this evening as closer than cars and coffee, lol

Spotted this, not that up on E21, but looks genuine, plaque says 168. Has optional recaro front seats, but can’t tell if they are original

Nice thing, although I didn’t like the aftermarket headlights. It’s just like the one I tried to buy in the late 80 except it had the black alpina cloth interior.

I hadn’t even noticed that as I only blew it up to post. I didn’t think the decals were correct, but they could have been replaced. The spoilers looked ok but couldn’t see any stamps, but don’t know what I’m looking at on these earlier cars.
