Post by B10BRW » Sat Feb 02, 2019 3:16 pm

Met up with the owner of the only B10 Bi Turbo in yellow, he took me to his garage in Reykjavik.
He also has a self built Ultima in the same colour :D

Very nice. I cant see there being many Alpina cars in Iceland.
Any pictures please?

I want to see what a yellow Alpina looks like. The car must has been expensive, that is a Ferarri colour.

Didn’t the owner win the furthest travelled award at the Alpina 50th anniversary do?
Is this the car and proud owner?

Yes that is Sveinbjorn, the proud owner, without the snow :D

The B10 was originally graphite and was painted by the previous owner in 2001.

It's been done to a couple of the B10 BT's nemesis too.

Both in Germany. I saw one in real life when I was in Mainz, it was for sale in garage that I went past in a cab.

I think yellow suits the B10 far better than the Lotus Omega.

When the lotus Carlton came out wasn’t it the fastest production saloon in the world, the same as the B10 BT. Which car is the fastest at their launch dates?

It's probably done more laps around the ring than any other Alpina.
