Ebay B3 advice?

Post by Alpinanewbie » Thu Dec 19, 2013 1:01 am

Apologies if this has been posted/discussed before. Does anyone have any views or experience of this B3?

I'm seriously interested. Also does anyone know if this is the same engine spec i.e. more powerful of the 3.3's?

Thanks

it's a 3.3 so the more powerful version of that year, however it looks OK but you'll just need to look at it like any 'old' e46.

To me it seems like a bargain basement 3.3 if everything is as it should be.

Thanks AG. I think someone else thought so too and must have snapped it up. Ah well, I'll keep looking :D

Just found this thread.
I bought this car in January from the same seller. Got it for £2500. Great motor for the price. Cosmetically it needs the wheels & caps refurbing and a couple of small rust scabs attending to. Interior is fabulous, that buffalo leather is just Image
Mechanically it needs a pair of front wheel bearings (328i?) and an air mass meter (any tips?.. OE is £300)
Mileage is genuine, got receipts for the services, mostly main dealer and a ton of other receipts, old tax discs, all the mots, log book slips etc etc.
Colour me happy. Image

If the weather ever stops I'll be going through it with a fine tooth comb but for now she's tucked away. I will be taking plenty of photos but here is a quick one I took with my phone on the way home from buying it.Image
