A few of us ALPINA owners went, was a decent display. However, chatting to a person who took his and displayed the previous year one really must be keen to do it as there were personal costs for him. His had a covered trailer from Surrey to the NEC and was delivered 48 hrs before the show, he went with it and then the day before positioned it on the stand. He commuted by train each day and was there from opening to close. In short he reckons it cost him approx 1500 pounds.

I appreciate each persons circumstances are different, but with NEC hotel prices at 150 plus for the Hilton, Roxy & Crowne Plaza anyone staying as well is showing massive financial commitment.

But a very good display and fair play to those who gave their cars and time and effort.
