This vehicle was presented with a rough engine runningfault. The engine was removed and fully dis-assembled to determinethe root cause of the issue.
Cylinder No 1 (connecting rod bearing shell) has spun, causingswarf to contaminate the entirety of the engine.

Main bearings No 1 and No 2 have also failed, causing damage tothe engine block support frame.

The crankshaft is scored on the main bearing and connectingrod journals.

Cylinder No 1 bore is also scored.

The engine will need to be fully re-conditioned or areplacement sourced.

The engine cannot be started as all fluids have been removed and has been loosely assembled for transportation purposes only.
