It’s a great spec’d car. Needs silver wheels though, as black has never done any car any favours.

When I bought my current D4 from Sytner Nottingham in 2019, this car was in the showroom.

I recall Gary telling me that they were struggling to move it on, in his opinion due to the silver colour.
I did sit in the car and as others have said, the interior is lovely.

So guys is this worth the £48k price tag?
Brand new £63k and 3.5 years later just a 23% drop, remove the VAT and it’s hardly lost any value.
Seems expensive.
I ask, as I am in the market for an alpina and torn between e46/e92 or go modern and as a 3 series fan I particularly like this model.
As everybody has said, not my ideal colour combo but it is a well specified car and basically like new with just 7.5k on the clock.
Good to get the experienced views on this forum on this car.

At high level the F30 and E46 are very different cars and depends what you want to use it for.
Everyone is welcome to their opinion but personally like the silver combination on newer cars - as not common any more! I wish they never went dark and dangerous with the grills and wheels (Lets not even go there with the stripes  ) - Again my own personal opinion..Also love the LCI Red Light cluster against the silver.

To your first question is it worth it? For me personally it is too much for this sort of car on paper. BUT If I was to drive one and see for my self I might change my mind. You have to drive these cars before judging. IMO there are no competitor to Alpina ride quality vs sporting ability - and it is purely a matter of taste. for less money you could have a nicely specced M3 Competition in F80 format - but thats if your into that sort of thing.
