This looks a good deal for a late model Biturbo with low miles. Looks to be lowered maybe? Seem to remember a member looking for a nice D3.

E90 D3 BiTurbo #412

Not sure what the story is with this one, but something a bit odd about it.

#412 was for sale with a dealer in Essex from Nov-21 to Mar-22 started at £11,980/86,738 miles and dropped to £10,995 before it disappeared on 12-Mar-22.

It then appeared for sale in Edinburgh on Gumtree for £7,800 with 87,200miles on the 17-Mar-22. I had assumed it was a scam ad since the seller would be losing circa £3k after a matter of days, but given they have now paid for an AT advert, maybe it is legitimate? :think The latest advert images are outside a different property to those that were listed on Gumtree.

Wish I could afford another car I'd snatch their hand off!

Hi,
Any more info on this?
A friend called and the guy said he’s only had it for 2 months.

Guy has reduced it £400 this morning. If its a nice car it's a great deal. People asking more for tired and tatty D3s.

It has a recurring traction control light issue hence the reduction in price. No reduction in power and tends to happen when its raining/wet weather. Any ideas? Abs sensor?

Could well be - we had a traction control issue on our E87 1 Series where the end of the drive shaft rusts and pushes up the ring used for the wheel speed sensor. Apparently the same happens on 3 Series. I can imagine wet weather can cause it to start happening if damp gets between the two. We also used to get it on constant radius corners and islands. It's been a while back but I think we ended up having to replace the drive shafts.....

Thanks for reply! Yes could well be, read a few comments on various forums saying similar things but also read horror stories of module being knackered. Could end up being an expensive fix
