#280 found a new home with another forum member on Sunday. I don’t think he’s introduced himself on here but if you see this look after and enjoy the car :)
Hi guys,

New owner of No.280 here. Picked her up couple of days ago and Mike was a pleasure to deal with and made the handover as smooth as possible. If only some dealers were as easy to do business with!

No.280 is my first Alpina but have been a long time admirer of the brand and I can honestly say, with the biggest grin, I am over the moon. 480 miles covered since Monday, a couple of long distance journeys and some short runs around town all coped with extreme comfort and ease. Having just sold my Mercedes AMG A35 I am certainly not missing the back ache when getting out for a coffee at the service stations!

May the Alpina love affair continue for many more miles.....

Cheers
Dan

Seems like it wasn't kept for long or the "many more miles" intended. Shame but the way it goes I suppose!

12 months and 9k miles was fine fair usage for me. Don’t tend to keep cars much longer than 12months and was offered a decent price by the dealer so time for something fresh.

A great car, brilliant spec and still in amazing condition. Will
make the next owner very happy I’m sure!!

Fair dinkum, Dan! I had a moon miles target in my head for some reason, glad you had a good year out of it though! What has replaced/is replacing it?
