E39 B10 V8S #091

Post by Bob » Sat Jul 24, 2021 12:53 am

Spotted this a few days ago being detailed, but is now on Collecting Cars. Looks stunning, love the colour combination. It must be worth at least as much as Brian's Techno Violet #033.

Great interior but if those photos are after it’s been detailed then the new owner’s gonna be doing some refurb work but a terrific opportunity depending on how much it goes for

Auction is up and running now.

Agree with Barry it would benefit from some refurb work, i.e. engine bay, steering wheel and fitting Alpina mats.

Very low mileage, reported it has been in Guernsey. Looks like a great car for the money and reserve lowered now.

Been posted on BMWBLOG now.

Looks like very good value when you compare it to what some E39 M5’s have been achieving recently.

I was surprised this didn't break £20k after Brian's old V8S sold.

I see this one is back on CC
https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/200 ... b10-v8-s-1

The original sale must have fallen through.

Whereas the two years older E39 M5 went for twice that. I doubt they are twice as good.

I'd only seen the PH ad initially ... the £40k looks positively reasonable compared to £82k!
