Will be interesting to see where the bids get to with this one. As you say, very good spec for a D3 BT Touring but whilst it looks in generally good shape, it's up there on miles and has obviously been a daily workhorse rather than garage queen.

I love this. Looks like two bidders pushed it up to 7k fairly quickly were it's stayed for a couple of days. I had a D3 touring about ten years ago which had over 100k miles but was well cared for. This looks to have had regular main dealer servicing and the MOT history is great.

I agree, a great spec this one. A friend has Azurite Black on his X5 and it looks superb when clean with a lovely blue fleck. It's a lot like Carbon Black in fact.

Hopefully it finds a good home.

Tempted apart from the colour , what put me off was the fact the one owner did not know whether chains, guides and turbos had been replaced
Potential large bills down the road.

Was seriously interested in this, but high miles and lack of knowledge re service from it's one owner put me off.

Not an Alpina I know, but I have just bought a 2013 F31 328i Luxury with a better spec than the D3 with 90K less miles for the same money
Imperial Blue/Venetian. Has the advantage of better Sat Nav and 8 speed auto.
Shame really, but I will just have to make do with only one Alpina
