E36 B2.5 #0793055

Another green B2.5 up for sale, this time in saloon flavour. Shame there only appears to be one recent image, the rest are recycled from 2017 or earlier by the look of it. Looks like it has lost the M3 mirrors, wonder if it still has the sports seats?

This has surfaced again after Rav last spotted it in a Copart auction: viewtopic.php?f=57&t=25349&p=211755&hil ... 55#p211755

Now sporting a fresh MOT and £16k price tag. I didn't see where the Copart auction finished (I last saw it at £3,050) but this has only done about 3miles since then, only fails for broken indicator and brake lights on the latest MOT have been addressed and it's still missing the osf fog light,it still feels like a project rather than a top condition car. And not sure what evidence there is for only being 14 of these :think

This makes my 132k mile coupe example a total bargain given I paid quite a bit less than half what's being asked here!

But in all seriousness, two things to say about this:

1. I've been really impressed with mine and it feels special even though it's a bit tatty. So if anybody was interested don't be put off that it isn't a "real" Alpina, because it will be ace.

2. Please don't pay anywhere near that price. It's infuriating that dealers do this and in so doing keep good cars out of the hands of people who might enjoy and cherish them. I'd say that if it's fully sorted £6-7k is fair and if it needs work then £4-5k would be better, depending on how much there is to do.

Hurrah for hugely optimistic E36 pricing! Perhaps one day my children will sell my money pit for more than I put into it?

In all seriousness its a shame if it stops enthusiasts getting into these cars whist they're still reasonably priced given their condition.
