Do love Santorini Blue. Not seen much use since it last sold in 2018.

It’s distinctive but to my eyes a bit bright and too similar to ‘doom blue’ shades. Hope it makes a new owner very happy.

As with most of the Individual colours, they tend to polarise opinion. Not sure if it is offically, but I'd describe Santorini as the same blue as that on the BMW Roundel, and it's the opposite of doom blue for me. That would be the really dark blues (Imperial or Tanzanite) that need to be spotlessly clean, in bright sunlight to look anything but black.

Crikey - this was our old car - ordered new from Matt Stripling in Sept 2011.
Sold it with 28k miles on the clock in Oct 2014 and bought a new M3.
It’s certainly not a ‘doom’ blue!

Wouldn’t mind buying it back for a summer hack, but I’m a bit short on space now!

Your too late I'm the new owner :D maybe a marmite colour to some but i love it in this Individual Santorini Blue, it's definitely a head turner. Back in Alpina ownership again, I missed the Alpina brand.

Hi there, I see that your the original purchaser of my new ride, and wondered do you know how rare this colour is to the Alpina D3 or even other models? It was the colour that drew my attention to it when I was browsing. May not be everyone's taste but I'm liking it, its a bit unique. 8)

Well done!
It served us (well, my wife as she drove it mostly) well for nearly 30k miles.
It’s a pretty rare colour but I couldn’t tell you how many were made.
I think the fact it cost about £2k means they’re few and far between!
