Selling my F30 B3 BiTurbo #40

Post by james158 » Tue Mar 16, 2021 12:51 am

I will be advertising my B3 for sale shortly but thought it might be best to offer it on the forum before advertising it through my platform.

Its been a great car and has served me very well. I planned to keep this car long term as a daily driver but I’ve had my E46 M3 freshened up over the winter and it’s ready to take over from the B3 as the new daily. Realistically the car wouldn’t be used that much so best to move it on to someone who can enjoy it.

The condition of the car is amazing for its age and miles. The owner before me was fastidious it really was his pride and joy. I can’t see any previous paint and the car is as straight as they come.
The car has only been washed professionally in my ownership so the paintwork is virtually swirl free.

I have added a gold set of decals to the car which I purchased from Alpina and set the car off with the contrasting Sapphire black paint work.

I am the 3rd owner and the car has covered 67500 miles I’ve done about 5000 in my ownership.
I’ve changed the spark plugs and an oil change even though it wasn’t needed.

Spec includes

Black Sapphire paint
Coral Red Interior
professional Navigation
Harmon Kardon
Head Up Display
Comfort access
Adaptive Cruise Control
Rear end collision
Reversing Camera
20 inch wheels
Piano Black interior trim
Electric heated seats
Electric folding mirrors

It’s a fantastic all rounder with a great specification and if it doesn’t sell I will gladly keep it.

I don’t have any photos to hand but when the advert is live I can add the link to this post.

Price - £27995

Full dealer facilities available if needed

Unless I’m going mad I’m sure there was a post I yesterday where someone was seeking a F30 B3 can’t find it James was a previous owner and then moved on and now looking to get back in an alpina

No, you're not going mad hap, it was kith who posted that (now deleted). He did say he was looking for a late/LCI B3, but with only 8 UK cars and one of those LCI, can't be too picky.

Yes, it was me who posted a wanted ad. Now deleted as I've put a deposit on an Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio instead. Sod's law that as soon as I commit to another car, a B3 appears...

That’s exactly what happened when I bought my D3.

Will be replacing front disc’s and pads in the next week and then am looking to advertise my D3 biturbo no.203 for sale.

Can confirm, having been beaten to the line by James that #40 was ridiculously mint for the mileage and prior owner extremely fastidious. Great colour combo too. Re the other point, mine (LCI) won’t be for sale any time soon but quadrifoglio is a great motor - maybe we can swap in a year or two

By the way James, I think the button that Kosta said was for rear collision is actually just a toggle switch for HUD.

Hi Mark

Yes it is a great example, I have someone coming to see it at the weekend so it might have a new owner soon. The button is for the rear collision the HUD is controlled through the Idrive on the F30.

The Quadrifoglio is a fantastic car, and quite Alpina-like in its duality. In 'normal' mode and even with the dampers softened in 'dynamic' it has a fluid ride that is very much like an Alpina and unlike a BMW, but it can switch very quickly to being a roaring beast of a car.
