Next Euro GT3 Round - Paul Ricard HTTT - This weekend

Post by neil » Wed Jun 30, 2010 9:02 am

Round 4 of the FIA European GT3 Championship will move to France at Paul Ricard HTTT.

Not sure if there will be 2 cars there - and hoping for a massive improvement over the last round at Jarama where S-Berg only managed 19th and 18th in the 2 races.

Not sure if its a good omen but The factory team managed their best result of their 2009 season there last year when car 25 secured 2nd in the second race.

OK - So just remembered that the B6 was racing this weekend in France.

Oddly it looks like it only did 1 qualification and 1 race - not sure the reasons yet.

2 New drivers - the second guy looks like a complete novice to the series.

Extracted from the Race report of Race 2

Two corners later the nr2 Hexis AMR Aston Martin DBRS9 of Thomas Accary was tapped into a spin and then hit by the unfortunate Jerome Policand in the nr10 Team S-Berg Racing BMW Alpina B6 GT3, who had no chance of avoiding the stationary Aston Martin bringing out the red flag.
