So room for improvement - Car 10 didn't finish it had some kind of problem.

Car 9 seemed to struggle from the start losing maybe 5 places in first lap - Car 10 seemed to be fairing better before it problem.

Car 9 hit something with its front right hand side - but finished the race (3 laps down)

Car 10 looked all ready to go but failed to start.

Car 9 started in 8th and initially looked competitive holding 8th for a number of laps. It slowly dropped down the field but was still in the game - c. 49 mins in it disappeared.

Unfortunately it had a big accident and is in a pretty bad way - I'll post some more photos - but here's one I tweeted:

http://twitpic.com/1kb2r0

In the end it finished in 23rd (as it had completed the majority of the laps it gets a place vs. DNF)

Love the pictures guys :D

I am assuming that the track ones are taken in the new Arena complex?

And do the changes to the track work in terms of racing and spectator enjoyment?

We sat at Village corner (part of the new track) from there you could see a good deal of the track - so yes I'm a big fan. They only had a small stand there - hopefully they will add a lot more.

What makes the crash worse (if possible) was that they'd only just fitted the car with a new nose - in bare carbon fibre:
