Need for Speed Shift or Forza 3 ?

Post by neil » Thu Oct 15, 2009 1:22 pm

Ok here's my dilema - I was all for buying Forza 3 when it comes out later in the month - but I've heard good things about shift and downloaded the Xbox360 demo last night and thought it was pretty good. I downloaded the Forza 3 demo last week and wasn't blown away....

Anyone in the same boat - or have some thoughts

Unsure if this will help.

A little remiss of me - I did make a decision and am very happy.

I bought Forza III on the recommendation of a good friend (and massive gamer) and think it is great.

Interestingly the Gadget show used a copy for a challenge this week. Racing Johnny Herbert in a real Porsche 911 GT2 (which I was very lucky to have a few very fast passenger rides in last year around Silverstone) against Jason and an impressive gaming rig (3 Xbox360s running 3 big TVs and a Porsche gaming wheel / pedals etc)

Here's a link to that part of the programme : http://fwd.five.tv/gadget-show/videos/c ... -part-four

I would have voted for Forza anyway. I've got neither of the games but have heard much better stuff about Forza than NFS. Forza is meant to be much more realistic.

I've seen an add on the Forza 3 and I think it looks better than the nfss game but thats only my opinion. I have asked for forza 3 as a xmas gift this year lol.
