I recently bought an Alpina Seastrong Diver chrono. Dark blue bezel.
Quartz so kept the cost down - got if for £525.
Very much like it!

I bought an ALPINA watch a few years ago from John Lewis, look a bit like a military pilots watch. I heard that this company is not longer in existence.

Seems to be very much alive and kicking - www.alpinawatches.com and alpinawatches on Instagram.

They do offer some nice timepieces...having just ordered a Bremont, I'm not sure I could get another one past C-in-C Home Command!

As a small aside, I was looking for a new mower recently and almost got an Alpina Mower to add to the Alpina theme but it wasn’t really what I was after so had to pass on it, seems a popular brand name!
