This is obviously subjective, however it does smack somewhat of a recycled trope and I can’t agree at all. I drove everywhere in my M240i in sport mode with the dampers in comfort because I found the firmer setup uncomfortable. That car wore 18’s with 40 profile rubber. I drive the B3 everywhere in Sport+ with the dampers in the Sport setting and it’s more comfortable than the M-Lite in comfort (though you get a much better feel of the texture of the road). That’s while wearing 20’s with 30 profile rubber. The roads are the usual potholed mess most of us are used to.
