So I take it to mean that you were either in your Audi or 320? Shame on you Thomas for not showing Grant your monster and leaving his D3 for dust   . Sorry Grant couldn’t resist that one

Hello Thomas, Gutted we couldn't have a proper chat, they should pull over spaces on the A331 and M3 I reckon, also the bank gibbering in my earpiece about why I should switch to their new fangled account was distracting!

I like the audi though!

I hope the B10 gets lovingly restored, but I think they have a job shifting it at the price they are asking. Had a lump in my throat looking at that pic.

Thanks for the nice coments! I was shamed into cleaning it by the photos Neil previously took

Do you think the grill is an improvement or did you not notice it?

And Neal, any time you want to try that 3.2 against me on any sort of winding road just give me the nodd  latest victim was on two wheels BMW 1150.

MarkB10 can testify that it goes well on fun roads :D

This isn't really a 'busted' because the car is debaged. I've seen it round these parts for many years and it always looked credible as a B10 because of the individual colour (for some reason it looks blue in the photo but it's actually amethyst or lilac).

I've only ever seen it from the front or side. Today I caught it stuck in traffic - the lack of protruding exhaust gave the game away..

I wish i had a chance to look at the grill mate but all i see was the rear of your car all the way but that was a beautifull site to say the least.I must say its the best D3 ive seen yet.the colour and the arches just look great as well as the dual exhaust system.I must say you have a beauty there.

Cheers Thomas!

I admit I prefer the Montego blue by far, I'm not a fan of silver because even when polished up still just looks....well silver

You can beat blue black and green for a bit of polish :D

Yesterday, M25, anti-clockwise, around Jct 13 crawling along in traffic, Dad was on his motorbike and spotted a blue B5. He gave him a big thumbs up but didn't get any conceivable response.

Dad said it looked really nice though :D

Thursday - Spotted an Gold ALPINA B12 ?!?

I've seen the car numerous times and always dismissed it as a fake/busted, however, Nick (my fellow B8 owner) reckoned he asked Sytner about it and they verified it was a real one....

Trouble is it is unbadged and has no visible exhaust pipes exiting the rear of the car (it does have pipes either side but they are under the bumper...) I could see the exhaust gases when he accelerated hard..

It does have ALPINA wheels and the aftermarket ALPINA roundels on the boot lid (and I presume the bonnet) but only saw the rear.

Jury is out currently - I'll have to keep my eyes out for it again.

Another cuase for concern is the reg D0DGY !

spotted in Gosport yesterday.

Fake Green B10 with Alpina splitter, classics, Alpina steering wheel, beige leather interior with wood dash.

No plaque, no model decal (Just B10) on rear left side.

Sent Neil a pic as not at home till later today.

Left a flier so the owner may see they are busted :) That said there were a pair of high heels in the foot well.....
