Indoor car cover

Post by L8 ALPINA » Sun Aug 24, 2008 5:24 pm

I am looking for an indoor car cover that has to be breathable, right sizing and nice and soft on the underside, E36 size for when i get my car back.

Does anyone recommend any. ( not the halfrauds type please )

Thanks

Neil had one made for his B8 (e36) but don;t think it's specifically breathable - but is soft on the inside.

If you PM him i'm sure he'll answer you when he gets back from his hols.

I had a "Carcoon" for a number of years and found it excellent, until the zip failed, only way to fix it was buy a new cover...COMPLETE!? Not at THAT price! They are ment for storage...not everyday coverage when constant removal is needed. PLUS they cost power to run, continuously. Great idea...but...

So I simply googled, and came up with hundreds of alternatives. Can't actually remember the brand I bought, but it cost about 70 pounds, was from the US, so no tax payable, is 5 layers thick, soft enough to sleep in???? Takes less than 1 minute to fit or reomve, won't blow off unless there is a cyclone, is lockable for security...& soft as a baby's bottom. Push me an I'll get the brand, but google "car covers", you won't be disapointed!
