The side profile is actually ok - a cross between an Aston and an Espada - but it's not a BMW!

The rest is just tragically deformed

The front is a cross between a Cayenne and a MX-5

The rear is a cross between a Z4 and a Honda Civic

The side takes a lot from the Ferrari 456

Bit of a dog's dinner IMHO

As for Bangle designs, it's interesting that when they first come out everyone hates them and over time they begin to grow on you...

Apart from looking enormous and totally unsuitable for british roads.... I quite like it, though I couldn't imagine actually buying one.

A few more photos of the car

errrmmm - jury is out from my perspective - as with all the bangle designs you really need to see it to decide...

However the model itself - it makes sense that BMW is considering the saloon-coupe it is a flavour of the month.
The Quattroporte, CLS and new S type are all of this ilk.
