Hi there
i have an E60 B5 Saloon, what are my options for winter tyres and can i get some steel wheels to fit them on my B5.
Quick update i am told by sytner nottingham that only alpina wheels can be fitted onto an E60 B5, these are £495 each for 18 inch classics and complete with Michelin Pilot Alpin A3 Tyres the total is £3990, needless to say i am looking for alternatives.
Any help / advice would be very much appreciated.

Mike,

Think you should have more than one option. I’d check with Alpina first, contact form is here. They were always quick to reply.

Second, check for the winter tyre sizes listed in the door frame, as your car is based on 550i you may be able to use the same size winter tyres. Going with a same logic, realoem gives back 225/50R17 94H size. I doubt you’ll be able to find steel rims but ebay should be your friend for some e60 used alloys.
