Mint Green B7 Anyone
Mint Green B7 Anyone
It’s a one-off B7 finished in what Alpina calls Mint Green paint with a contrasting Merino leather in the cabin. It’s definitely not for everyone including me, though someone clearly likes it, would be Alpina Blue for me with decals.

No accounting for taste
Re: Mint Green B7 Anyone
I could never see myself driving a car that colour but the more I see it the more it is growing on me.
As a poster car, it's certainly attention grabbing.

I really like that mint Green will be more than happy to drive that. I however will rather have mint green on something smaller like a 3 series. If I was going to buy a 7 series it will be in one of the ALPINA colours; or royal burgundy red, almandine brown, aventurine red or another loud but bold colour

When it comes to green I like this one in Java Green, defo a head turner, but a brave move. I have also considered Alpina Green over the years but never quite been persuaded, however back in the day I did see a brand new Fern Green E46 B3 which was very impressive at the time (still is!)nealpina wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 12:15 amI really like that mint Green will be more than happy to drive that. I like Java Green as it's just loud. Didn't think of this the other day when posting, but mint green reminders of retro colours from the 60sbig blue wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 9:06 amWhen it comes to green I like this one in Java Green, defo a head turner, but a brave move. To me Java and Mint green are loud colours, as Fern Green is loud but bold - meaning: conservative as it can be hidden in the background like Mora especially in different light, but Java and Mint even in a blackhole there will still be light

Re: Mint Green B7 Anyone
I was *very* close to specifying Java Green when I ordered my B4, In the end, three factors applied. First, an extra £3300 for a paint job seemed a little gratuitous. Second, when I eventually come to sell, while a few will love the colour, another 80% will hate it, so I'm limiting my market. Finally, I thought "Do I really want to wake up to Java Green on my drive after a heavy night?". Um, while I still love the colour, I suspect I might tire of it after a few years. Pretty much my view of the Mint Green too, TBH.
Oh, and also I started seeing a load of Skodas and Vauxhalls with a very similar colour. Exclusivity down the pan.
(But I still sometimes wish I had gone for it.)

How is the "Snapper Rocks" going, Blue offers a number of options, I have sapphire black at the moment and that is one that gets dirty real quick and needs cleaning more often than I remember any blue colours I have had before.b0ardgamer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 9:27 pmI was *very* close to specifying Java Green when I ordered my B4, In the end, three factors applied.
