Just a quick hello from me - I’m new to the register and the lucky new owner of Alpina B3 BiTurbo #185. Barry has made me a very happy man selling it to me. Always been into my BMW’s but after seeing this thread on another forum I followed with great interest. I have also used BMR Performance for a few jobs on my previous E92 so when I saw this car may be up for sale I pounced as I knew it wouldn’t be for sale very long due to the standard of work being carried out on it. It’s a phenomenal car that has been expertly improved so thanks again Barry. All my Christmas's came early.
Not sure exactly what goes on in the world of Alpina enthusiasts yet but ready to get involved.

Well it’s been a first fortnight of mixed ownership emotions with the B3. My first drive consisted of a flat tyre and a broken drivers front suspension coil spring. 3 RAC vehicles and a trip to kwik fit over 2 days finally ended up in another knackered tyre (thanks RAC)
Finally the car had been recovered to BMR Performance Crawley where I knew it would be in safe hands. The car has since benefited from a brand new pair of front coil springs shipped over from Alpina and a new Michi Pilot sport 4s and I’m please to report it drives like a dream once again. Big thanks to Barry and Ross at BMR Performance once again for fitting the car in to their busy schedule without hesitation. Top workmanship as always. Can’t recommend them more Alpina Owners.

Thanks. It’s not getting out too often recently as the weather has been diabolical. Also I’m down in the ashdown forest and the roads are on par with the surface of the moon for potholes. Can’t remember roads as bad for a long time. Is that just around here or is everywhere really bad?

Bad everywhere, very bad for Alpinas with their low profile tyres!

Welcome to Alpina ownership - the car looks super.

Ashdown Forest is a cracking part of the world - good sailing at Weir Wood too. However, have to agree that the roads are both narrow and a bit lumpy!

Agreed roads are sht in the UK. Whenever you do find a decent bit of road its a reminder of how the normal standard should be. My theory is the corrupt way in which contracts are given to road maintaince companies....someone please disagree with me and correct me...

I think it’s a mixture of poorly patched up roads from all the utilities constantly being dug out and the wrong kind of road surface being laid. Have to say I have lived all over England and this part of the world (ashdown forest) has to be the worst I’ve known for pot holes. Shame because everything else is so beautiful here.

Hi all, #185 has sadly had to be listed for sale on the forum. The car is still in the exceptional condition Barry put her into and has been garaged and never driven in the rain since I’ve had her. I have only added 1k miles. Please look at listing and DM me if you are interested. Cheers
