Courtesy of well-known rusting of E46 front wings, #049 had a facelift last week.
As well as two new front wings, I renewed the grilles and the BMW roundel and sorted out a couple of car park dings in the front doors before having the whole front end resprayed.
Added to that, an interim measure of polishing the headlight lens covers has made driving at night significantly easier.
I'll be replacing the ALPINA logo in gold in due course and maybe adding some additional vinyl for good measure - after all, I think she's earned her stripes now

No. The bodyshop gave them a polish - it's cleared a large amount of the hazing and pitting but 250,000 miles of stone chips is a lot to cut back.
The next stage is to replace the lens covers and the seals which is possible on E46 headlights, thankfully.
