Looking good Kevin. Any plans on changing the steering wheel?

Those mats look great. May I ask where from?

I could/would live that wheel, just asking. Fantastic car and am looking forward to seeing in the flesh/paint

E24man wrote:So yesterday was spent with a five minute job to make the SwitchTronic more user friendly - a simple switch of two wires to make pushing the gear lever change down instead of up, and gear lever backwards for up instead of down. I also did this to my E39 B10 V8 and found a late gear surround with the correct direction indicators. I have read that very late (2001) E38 728i's have this direction as well so will be on the lookout for a now-correct surround.
Hello,
Congratulations, it's a beautiful car! My favourite 7 Series actually.
Do you have a link illustrating how to modify the Switchtronic?
My car is from 2004 and it should have the " + " down, but it has apparently been changed at some point.

Thank you and kind regards,

Stunning car, Kevin. Even though it came from the North East of Scotland I have not seen it before! Looking forward to seeing your progress with it.

Hello,
Many thanks for your advice.
I was a bit confused as the wires were not the same colour as on the tutorial I have seen.
You have a very nice car collection by the way.
Kind regards,
Alex
