E90 Black and Gold D3 Biturbo #114

Post by Wellsy » Fri Jan 13, 2023 1:22 pm

Owned mine for 4 years now, started off a bit sorry for it self, needing all the wheels refurbished, brakes all round, interior deep clean, decals stripped, paint corrected, Gold Decals Fitted (Cheers Simon) then Ceramic Coat.
Since then everything has just been maintenance and enjoying it. planning on many more years to come.

Your car looks just right, the blk/gold, dynamics and what seems to be a bit marmite sometimes here, the black grill.

Hi ya,

Yeah with the black grille, As mine was a shadow line from Factory. So originally came with Black Wheels, Dark Gray Decals and Black Grilles. The wheels were already silver when I bought the car, the decals were too subtle for me. From 20ft away you couldn't see them, plus I am a life long F1 Fan and the Lotus JPS 82 is my favorite F1 livery. So decided Gold Decals would work.
I then decide the leave Black Grille in place for two reasons, 1 - as a nod back to its original spec, 2 - honestly it just didn't look right with the silver grille against the black and gold scheme.
