Do you reckon videos like this will put an end to unrestricted autobahns ?

Possibly but it's more likely to be the CO2 brigade who get there first.

The Greens in Germany are trying to get speed limits imposed for years already, so far unsuccessful. The lobby of the big car makers still seems much too strong within the governing other parties.

Just a little bid of info, if you don't know already:
Travelling at excessive speed, even on an unrestricted stretch of Autobahn, can already get you a partial blame in case of an accident, no matter if you are at fault, or not.
So if you are involved in an accident, somebody else caused but you were travelling let's say 125 mph, you can get a partial blame, no matter what.
