Thursday 14th - What do you want for Xmas

Post by neil » Thu Dec 14, 2006 4:41 pm

Well this is the first year where I don't really want anything for Christmas - I know hard to believe but I just don't think I want / need anything. Sure there's a list as long as my arm - new Camera, Xbox 360, nintendo WII, bullet cam, carmount, new sat nav etc.

But I can't really say I need any of them, certainly the games consoles are hard to justify as I hardly ever play one anymore. A new camera, again nothing wrong with my current one (I've taken 11k photos with it). Satnav is slightly more justifiable, but on slightly. etc etc.

Am I getting too sensible or am I just already spoilt ?

To be honest while writing this I've thought of something - some good weather so I can drive my B8 ! but thats probably a long shot - and thinking about it the B8 could have been my early Xmas present anyway !

So anyway getting to the point, see if you can persuade me I need something - tell me what you want / are planning to get for Christmas !

Already got a 360 and a Wii, lol. Mi X-Mas wishes would be to big to ask for them. So I will get some smaller presents, like games.

Besides that, I do have to say there is also nothing I really need to survive. Think I wouldnt drive an Alpina if it was so.

@V8 Ego: I wish you good look, just got a new job this week that I will start in January.

@jsnell: Dont be to exited about Wii Sports, its fun but its just a bunch of free games that come with the console, no perfect simulations.

All I want for Christmas is a computer that will let me transfer video to DVD really simply and first time - I have 3 useless DVD's already and the laptop/camcorder are about to feel my fury

I just want a pair of M5 mirrors and a later steering wheel for my B10, those would really make my Christmas. :D

I don't know what I really want for my X'mas. I assume this is the time for the children only but not for our old folks like you and me. I may look a bit grey and blue at the moment I know. To me I have my B10, my family, my health and finally all you guys out there like me to enjoy our beloved Alpina.

Que me... :D

Gotta admit though, this is the first year that's I've noticed I'm not counting the days down to Xmas. Certainly the first year I've not had an advent calender, and I overall just don't seem quite as excited. Old age already :) However, come Chirstmas Eve I'm sure I won't be able to get to sleep, as is customary on the eve of B'day/Xmas for me.

Well, I've asked the rosy cheeked beared one for another R/C car to add to my collection. This one would be to race at my local club each week.

Santa has it easy on deciding for my goodies - 4 wheels is all I need

Amen to that...

That said, if santa's listening (and I have been a good boy this year) I could quite fancy one of those new Ipod thingies with a screen that can watch videos.

I'd love the new PS, but with two small kids my PS2 hasn't even made it out of the box since last Xmas!
