I am still deciding which car to bring but leaning towards a bit more comfort with the e46.

Bringing both would be ideal but my youngest isn’t ready to be insured on the e46 yet. Perhaps in 2025.

Those who stay at the Doubletree by Hilton at Milton Keynes , it is now available to book. There are, of course alternatives. Note the Hilton at Silverstone Circuit is already showing as unavailable as indeed it always seems to be for any major event.

Is this the last Alpina Silverstone event before it becomes part of BMW? Or do we have 2025 as well?

We will always keep the ALPINA brand alive at different events. Just because BMW are taking over doesn’t mean we can’t promote the brand as we do.

Indeed it has made zero difference if BMW owned ALPINA or not. There was a time when the ALPINA group at Silverstone used to display as part of he BMW Car Club GB stand.

However we have found it to be far more advantageous to have a separate ALPINA only display which is totally independent of the BMWCCGB.

There is no reason to believe there will be any desire to change this format in 2025 or beyond. That is unless the majority of those who attend now and have done consistently each year change their minds. This relates to the Silverstone Festival but is not a mandate for other events.

What is a fact is that there a very few people who own an ALPINA that are committed to joining in at this event, there are a host of probable reasons which have been debated many times.
