Hi all,

I've booked for the weekend and will travel each day, its only 40 mins from me and if I go the back way is a fun drive.

If there is anything I can do to help, be it setting up or bring things with me please let me know. I know these things take a lot of effort to organize so more than happy to help if I can.

Time booked off work, looking forward to it.

It appears there are a number of BMW groups who have separated from the main BMWCCGB display which incudes Z roadster.org and the BMW Enthusiasts club.

There is to be a price increase on the 1st February.

I was unaware of this when I posted up the details, normally I have price increase details in the hand book. Had the email on Friday from Goose the organisers. I have no idea how much the tickets will increase, I have asked but was told they will be announcing the amount on 1st February

Also I was told there could be a second price increase so if you are thinking of attending our display you might want get your tickets now and take advantage of the cheaper price.

I was surprised and disappointed at the current low take up with ALPINA owners wishing to attend this event. I shall personally be there for the 3 days but it can be any combination.

What is preventing people from attending?

The cost?
The Bank Holiday?
The event?
The location?
Just done it too many times before?
Want to park with another group?
Got something else which clashes?

80 plus cars came to Nottingham, I am trying to get a feel for this, its not scientific.

I bought an Alpina umbrella for that very reason, we live in the UK so I am prepared for all weathers. I live in hope that we might have a nice weekend.

It would be nice to think that we would get decent weather, but we have the small marquee (thanks to Simon Alcorn) and with the relatively small number of participants there should be room for everyone. I often feel sorry for those who choose camping as that relies upon the good weather, does it not?

Well its too late now to display and buy tickets, so we shall just have to take what it offers, that or stay at home.
