BMWCCGB National Event - May 2021 - CANCELLED

There may be one or two who were wondering what the BMW Car Club GB would be offering for their National Event in 2021. The 2020 Gaydon normal offering was cancelled.

The 2021 event due to be held at Donington in May has also been cancelled. In fact I believe the cancellation was announced before they actually promoted the event.

My understanding is they were doing it in conjunction with BMW 750 track racing and there would have also been some opportunity for attendees to go on the track in some format.

Just for any that may have been interested they also have cancelled BMWs on the Lawn at Weston Super Mare and their National Concours due to take place 2 may 21.

The donington Historic 1 and 2 may 21 is going ahead, however the BMWCCGB are not attending. It is open to other groups who wish to attend and register with the organisers and they will receive discounted tickets, not sure if there is any appetite for that?

I've got tickets for this, which rolled over from last year's cancelled event, through PCGB. I'll certainly come and say hello if any Alpinas are in attendance.

I am uncertain if anyone with an ALPINA is going to the Donington Historic. I have been a couple of times and it was wet and freezing unfortunatley.
