Accommodation available for Silverstone Classic

Post by B10BRW » Fri Dec 27, 2019 9:18 pm

Anyone who may be looking for somewhere to stay for Silverstone should try the:

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Milton Keynes
Stadium Way West
Milton Keynes MK1 1ST

I have just booked a double room for the Friday and Saturday nights for £77 for 2 nights :dance.
That sum is for Hilton Honours members, the non members rate is £83 for 2 nights.

The Hotel is only 16 miles from Silverstone.

I have stayed at this modern hotel a couple of times. It is in fact the Ground for Milton Keynes Dons Football Club. The rooms therefore go all around the perimeter of the stadium. There is car parking which is free outside however this can be very busy and there is additional parking in open air over spill car parks opposite. I never had any issue but there is no car park security as such, the whole area is a retail park.

The Hotel has a night club on the ground floor and a cocktail bar on another floor. It has a restaurant with bar and also a steak house type restaurant.

It does not take too long to get to Silverstone about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.

Further to Brian's post, we managed to get three nights at the bargain rate of 38.50 per night at the Hilton Stadium Way Milton Keynes. I think that is incredible value. Booked via Hilton web site as a Hilton Honors member ( free to join).
