BMW Trackday 23rd Feb 2019 / Alpina meet up (unofficial)

I was thinking of attending the above day at Angelsey Race track. I have spoken to the organisers and they are happy for us to attend as a group and gather together. I am spending some time in north wales and the place is simply fab for petrol heads and outdoor lovers. If anyone wishes to join me let me know. I can offer assistance with were to go for the best roads and to stay to make a weekend of it. The combo of empty road and rugged terrain is amazing.

If I attend the day I will most likely rent a modest race car of some kind as I do not wish to destroy my D3. If anyone wishes to join me in this then cost sharing may be a way forward.

I will also be attending a track day there on 17th of June with a pal who has a Lamborghini Performante. Rides will be available. Bring brown trousers.
We could also organise a gathering of Alpina’s on this day as well. Do let me know if interested. I will be in the area for the weekend as well.

This is interesting, as a member of the BMWCCGB, we are advised of these track days. If I was interested specifically its a long way from me in Sussex. They never have on at Goodwood.

These events really do not attract anyone unless they are participating or some friend or relation of those taking part.

They are normally on a week day, so whilst anyone can go along, I dont see a big take up on it for spectators.

Interested to know who you asked, specifically?
