M cars and Alpina meet - 3 September 2023

Post by Corky1710 » Tue Jan 10, 2023 3:45 pm

Just waiting for my D4 to have its ZF gearbox 60k service here at BMR in Sussex. I noticed this flyer. Who would be up for this! Brian? Norrie?
Denbies is a vinyard just to the north of Dorking.
3rd September 23.

My bad - apologies!

I have corrected all the posts to show the correct date, in particular the title of the thread.

The event for pre 2000 cars on 14th may 23 was a massive success with 180 cars attending. There is hope and anticipation that this figure could be exceeded, so dont forget to book your ticket in advance. I understand it is sponsored by BMR Performance so many thanks to them for their support.

It was a great meeting with several real and fake Alpinas I had not seen before.
As it is only for M cars and Alpinas I would be pleasantly surprised if the total of 180 cars was exceeded.

Will ask Nigel if all the Alpinas can be parked together, don't want to be mixing with the M lot

Note there are 64 spaces allocated for ALPINA, we are the front 2 rows, there will then be 3 rows of M Power (not M Performance) cars. Currently approximately half of the ALPINA space have been taken. Therefore, if you are coming and have not got your ticket, best to purchase one.

The event is sponsored by BMR Performance, there will also be representation from the BMWCCGB and Vines BMW. I have no clue what Vines will bring, hope personally it does not need plugging in . The Motorrad section will be there also.

Non display attendees will park behind the M Power display. I met with the organiser Nigel Hole on Friday 7 July 23.

I bought a ticket ages ago but don't remember being asked what car I was brining. Do I need to let anyone specifically know I will be in an Alpina?
