22-May: The Motorist Cars & Coffee

There has been some early chatter in a Facebook group about a possible meet somewhere in the South or West Yorkshire area .... The Motorist maybe.

I know a few folk here aren't on FB so thought I'd mention it in case there is any interest. If there are any other possible venues, suggestions are welcome too.

Those who have expressed an interest are spread around the Huddersfield, Halifax, Leeds & Pontefract areas.

We will be spending a week near Guisborough end of May for half term and a week in Gunnerside (nr Richmond) in August, can recall which week that is though. Both may be a bit away, but I will keep an eye on the thread.

I've got a pass out for Sunday morning so I'm thinking I'll head to the Motorist's Cars & Coffee meet, aiming for about 9.30/10am on the 22nd and will need to leave by 1pm latest.

I know it's relatively short notice, but anyone else fancy it?

Will be good to see you Adam. I hadn’t appreciated it was a Triumph Day originally, just had in my head Sundays were generic. Either way, just heading over for a drive out and get a sausage butty for brekkie.

Small but intimate ALPINA gathering this morning. Nice to meet Adam, Paul and Tom. Realised I didn’t take any photos of the B3, but I know Adam did!

Nice venue with a real mix of other cars.
