A Plan - I 've used them for years and they've always delivered on premiums.
Can't comment on claims, as touch wood I've never had to.

Just searching quotes on a 2008 B3 Biturbo.

For comparison, my E46 328 CI Auto costs £480 per annum.

I followed Martin Lewis's advice to systematically search the comparison sites as well as the insurance companies direct.
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/car-in ... _content=2

Meerkats:
Admiral £775.27; Elephant: £779.65, Diamond: £784.02

Moneysupermarket:
Sure Thing! £ 522.60, MotorQuoteDirect: £ 532.03, Autonet: £ 532.65
Provident Insurance:£ 542.72

Gocompare:
Similar to meerkats

A plan: £780
Direct Line: £853

Zurich doesnt recognise the 2008 B3 BiTurbo, but does recognise the 2010 onwards B3S Biturbo.

Aviva only recognises the D3.

The search continues!

Regards,

Bert

Admiral beat my previous premiums with Sky who I had been with for quite some time this year on a D3. I was expecting price increase due to insurance going up in general but still managed to save a few pounds.

I use APlan but my B10 is over 15 years old so they have it on a agreed value modern classic policy. Carole Nash who I use for a couple of cars quoted me £20 less for an additional £100 excess (£200 total) but I will probably stay with APlan as they have been pretty good so far and have a good reputation...

Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
Regards,
Dan.

i've just switched the M5 to adrian flux and my e30 and e36 over to A plan

Sky are worth a call as i've got the e46 with them and they are good normally. But i find i have to ring round and leave them for a year or two and then they get their arse in gear.

You always have to ring round regardless every year which is boring.

They won't be getting my business. Sorry, Dan! I tried.

Doesn't look like LV have been mentioned. I've used them for a couple of years, beat A Plan last time, but it was very close.

LV didn't recognize the B3 touring on there system. So A-Plan got the business.

For classics these guys are pretty competitive. http://www.peterbestinsurance.co.uk/

A vote for LV from me, I've been with them the last two years. I was with Aviva the two years before that until their prices started creeping up.
Both companies also recognise the B3 BT coupe on their systems.
