e30 C2 2.5 Alpina

Hi Guys,
New to the forum so a big hello from me.

Looking for a bit of info really regarding the e30 C2 2.5 Alpina. Now from what I can see online there was not too many of these produced, however I'm struggling to find a definitive answer as to when they were in production. I have seen one on a G-reg 1990, is it likely that they would have been available in that year.

Also, was the Alpina plate on the dashboard fitted on all Alpinas?

Look forward to the replies as it is really hard to tell a genuine Alpina from one which has had the bits and pieces fitted at a later date.

Hi Hap,
I believe it's G470 VYH. I am fairly confident its replica and I know the e30's are going up but curious about whether a good replica Alpina will fetch a premium over a good good standard 325i

It’s a very good replica had me fooled but none the less looks lovely and I would say yes worth more as those genuine Items fitted are becoming rarer all the time

Yes that is the one. More curious than anything regarding values and and opinions around replicas. It does look good though.

I guess it like a good replica Rolex, even they have a market and can be worth something
