F31 D3 winter tyres

Post by funkymonkey9876 » Wed Dec 28, 2022 11:45 am

Hi Guys,
I’m looking for a set of cheaper BMW OEM wheels with winter tyres.

Does anyone know the smallest size I can go to? My classics are 20s but I’m a bit worried about brake clearance on 18s.

Thanks

There should be a sticker on the bottom of the B Pillar with all the recommended tire sizes and pressures. That will also list the recommended winter set up.

For 18" winters over the 370mm discs, you can use Style 397, 405M and 416. All should fit over the brakes. I stuck with 19" for my winters, but have the F80 M3 set up, which is 641M. They have a bit of poke, but are spot on for what I need/want.
