Connected Drive ?? F30 D3bt

Hi has anyone else had issues ? I am trying to update my Satnav maps via the BMW connected drive. In the car it shows the connected drive subscription expired 2018.( before I bought car) I have attempted to apply online, but only got as far as keying the VIN ( tried both !!!!). It says the VIN is not recognised . I then email the connected drive team and after a week got email asking for ViN. Gave both VINs and another week later still not heard anything. I rang and the chap I spoke to asked if it was an e39 5 series?? - As that’s what’s on their system - ( worrying when I have had Alpina warranty work done last year ) He asked me to scan and send pages 2& 3 of the V5 and they would be in touch , but no response yet anyone else had any issues ?

Hi, we have 'connected drive' on our daily F45 and even just renewing it at the end of warranty was a nightmare. Only sorted after several telephone calls, gave up on emails! To be honest I think I was lucky with who I spoke to the last time as it was sorted within 30 minutes. Thus, give them a call it may be the best option.
