Having just got home, following my visit to get the tracking/alignment done, I wanted to recommend the Protyre team at Black Boots in Chesham - in particular Joe who did the work.

I've read good things about them elsewhere and was not disappointed.

Paul handled my booking and subsequent payment exquisitely - calm, friendly and extremely approachable - and at £25 + vat per corner, very reasonable pricing it was too!

Joe was the friendliest chap and put me at my ease straight away. They use a Hunter system which has the correct settings but insisted on checking these against those in the Supplementary Handbook. Then he explained what the "before" numbers were telling him before discussing with me what I wanted to achieve based on driving style. Having agreed on "stock Alpina" he kept me fully informed throughout, explaining the implications of any changes he was making on what I would experience at the wheel. I was pleased to note that he is as OCD as I am about achieving perfectly matched numbers on either side of each axle!

Driving home, the changes were noticeable and very much an improvement on the trip over - namely tighter control and sharper direction changes - which was what I wanted to achieve.

Highly recommended 😀
