....a sign of my age I guess but I remember when prices first hit a£1 a litre!!
It was 46.9p/litre when I passed my test in '95 - good old days!
Makes me feel old, I passed my bike test in 1978 and my car test in 1981 - petrol wasn't priced per Litre then, but I think it was about 75p/gal for 4 star when I started buying it, so that would be around 16.5p/litre
Rather dates me :D , my first fill up was 4s 7d per gallon, put in 4 gallons with change from a pound :dance

Ditto'ish, October 1963, I had a BSA 175 Bantam, and I was appalled when it went up from 4s 5d to 4s 11d a gallon including two-stroke oil shots !
B3 BiTurbo Cabrio #121 (E93) + Quaife ATB LSD
X1 2.0 Twin-Scroll Turbo xDrive #zillion (F48) ... really useful, if only an XB1 existed !

--- but when you are up to your ears in alligators it can be relatively difficult to remember that your original idea was to drain the swamp --- hmmm

If you use Shell Go+ then you get fuel vouchers over time - typically every five fills or so - which reduce the cost of a tank of VPower to the same as Tesco Momentum.

However, the other fills are at normal Shell prices.
Thanks for the info. Not such great deal but guess it helps. Can't wait for prices to go down, it is painful filling up the tank these days.
